Saudi Clerics Advocate Adult Breastfeeding
Sheikh Al Obeikan, an adviser to the royal court and consultant to the Ministry of Justice, proposed an Islamic solution to prevent the sex segregation in Islamic offices. He suggested that the lactating (or women who could produce milk, somehow or other) women in the office breastfeed their male counterpart, for the men to become their mahram. This meant that having suckled the breast of the women, these men will become haram to the women who had breastfed them, and therefore, these men will be permitted to visit these women in the privacy of their office rooms.
